I am a stalemate with my paper. Nine pages achieved on Tuesday and not a page more since then. I am also plagued with the lab I have to hand in tomorrow. Since the ice storm occurred on the day of the lab, the instructor just gave us the results and told us to write it up. At first this was a cool idea, then I began to write and could not say anything intelligent because I had not been there. Something has got to be said for doing something yourself!
In other news, the newspaper is OUT! (no pun intended) And I think people are enjoying it as per usual. I received a plethora of recipes in my mailbox from the secretaries in the dept for my recipe column with Ceci. They Love us!

Went to the RainTree Café yesterday for Lunch with Denise. Oooh, it was lovely! And so yummy! Pity the blind dates could not go there. We had some Greek brushcetta, if that exists. There was pesto and feta cheese on soft, freshly baked foccacia bread. Quite yummy. Anyway, started working on my paper after lunch and got a good portion of the first chapter done. I think only three to four more chapters to go. Also, very happy when the airport gods let Puja and Cecilia return from their trips. Okay, time to put all my energy into my paper, my lab, my finals, and my life. Me me me, well not really but kind of. Wish me Luck. I also want to say GET WELL SOON to Bexy, who was feeling under the weather recently.

I really hate my router and my internet service at home. It's so odd, it will go down leaving msn working but I can’t access any other sites. Oh, well. Back at school! Weird, have not been in my office since Thursday. I missed it. Anyway, in other news, I got mail today at school! I don’t care if it is another journal, it came in a big brown envelope and I felt special.

Went to Diliny’s 70’s party and wore my silver jacket! I am always looking for a reason to wear that jacket. It is just so much fun. Last time I wore it, I was a Bond girl for Halloween. Well the party was “kickin”! And continued till we had breakfast this morning! I love going out for breakfast. I miss doing it in Montreal. There is always a serving of fresh fruits to go with your meal. Thinking of Place Milton and Chez Cora puts a smile on my face. Can we plan a Montreal trip for the summer! Tell me if you are up for it. It will involve a tour of my favourite breakfast eateries and a little poutine! Oh, and some dancing and general booty shaking!
