This has been a birthday week! Two Lovely Ladies: Leticia and Laura celebrated their birthdays this week. It's a pity we are scattered about; it would have been fun to celebrate all together. This makes me think of first year and attending Afshan's birthday bash at Res. I remember Linds wore her PJs and we drank champagne. You can never re-create stuff like that! Ah those were the days!
In other news, I am proud to announce the launch of the Pud blog! Warning to all: Blogging is very addictive :)
Also, today is the first day of the comps and I want to say GOOD LUCK to my STATS girls who are sweating it out today!
Well, I think that’s about it. In regular news: SAS is now working, Blind Date is coming along, and lunch dates are weird. Tonight is the girls’ night out! We are going dancing and leaving the boys at home. Wohoo!

Okay, I am currently in a bit of pain. I had my first “Get on the Ball” class yesterday and I am feeling it today. The class is really fun, and I did not fall off the ball as many times as I thought I would. It was quite humorous though, every time I looked around everyone looked just as odd as I did. Even the instructor nearly fell off once or twice. My favourite part was the bouncing on the ball, but we only do that for about 10 seconds. Although, it was driving me nuts when the girl in front of me would roll back unexpectedly without looking back or telling me. So then I rolled back then the girl behind me had to do an emergency roll back, a little bit of commotion. On Monday, Ceci had her first Cardio JAM class with me, and that was fun too. We actually have the same instructor who looks a lot like our friend Angela…weird, especially b/c Angela is in the Ball class too!
Other exciting news, our workshop for the Women In Math day is entitled “Adventures in Statistics.” We came up with the name after a rigorous internet search, and I think once those girls read our little description they are going to come running to the session! Oh well, time to go and read some Mid Summers Nights Dream (MSDN) before class. I am thinking of writing my first essay on Shakespeare’s view on fornication in King Lear and MSDN. Believe it or not, it is actually one of the essay topics. If anyone has any views on this, do tell!
