The spiral of life!

Just some thoughts about life, school, and whatever else comes to mind :)

I am now certified in First AID and CPR Basic Rescuer, which means I can also help children and infants. It was a great time and I met some cool people. Feeling a little empowered at the moment!

I have to apologize to my girl Toya! I voted for you last week but this week I was so taken in by Malcolm Mania, I just had to vote for him. He just looked so cute with his glasses and curly hair. For those who think I am insane, I’m not…I just started watching Canadian Idol. I can’t help myself; I have to watch something before Paradise Hotel comes on!

Well, the blackout came and went and we sure felt the effects. My parents told me stories in the dark and we reminisced about the old days, or rather they reminisced and I listened. Thankfully we only lost power for less than 12 hours but the whole weekend was totally off kilter after that. My CPR/First Aid weekend was cancelled, my cell phone was totally out of whack, and getting gas took over an hour and a half. Still managed to make it all better by going to IKEA not once but twice and spending money I don’t have. Thankfully I spent the money on things I need.

Less than a week to school starting and I am getting a bit nervous. I need to get a comfy office type computer chair. I think I have finally finished setting up my room and our living room is also coming together. I can’t believe how much I crammed into my bedroom: 2 desks, bed, bookcase, dresser, and lots of those blue storage bins. Watch out IKEA and Martha! I could work on Trading Spaces man!

Congrats to Ceci on her first draft! I knew you would have no problems with that deadline. And Denise where are you?? (to both Denises) I need to email some of the peeps I know and I will. I have been caught up with my stuff I admit it.
