On our way home from visiting some family friends, we encountered some horrid weather on the highway. In fact, as we noticed another car in the ditch, our car slid and fishtailed and we ended up facing the oncoming traffic, luckily everyone else was far enough behind us that they were able to stop. It was a scary, heart stopping moment, and no one screamed or anything; it was that eerie type of calm. I was entirely freaked out but stayed calm, last thing you want to do is to freak out the driver. Well, we made it home safely after this, and we all breathed a sigh of relief that our prayers for a safe journey home were answered. Still, feeling a little weird I must say but I think I am just going to go to bed. I hope everyone is having a safe holiday wherever they are.

On Friday before I began my grand trip up north, I had dinner with Mel and Dan the Man! I know you have all been waiting patiently for the reviews, and I must say Dan is really nice. He took us to dinner and for drinks after. He was soo nice; I congratulate Mel on a great catch!
After this, I was escorted to my bus and began my trip to Sudbury. They loaded the bus early so I fell asleep while it was being loaded and was woken up by some friends who were headed home! We yakked for a while then decided to let the rest of the people on the bus go to sleep.
Saturday: At 6:00am, I arrived at the bus station and was picked up by the lovely Sio. Then we went to her house and had breakfast with her parents who were already up and about at such an early hour. And for the day we did all sorts of stuff. We went to East Side Mario’s visited with Mel (another one) and bought stockings for Lindsay since she had to go to a wedding. We also had a little flower Fiasco which was rather interesting, I had to deliver flowers to some family friends but they were not home but eventually we got a hold of them and delivered it the next day. That evening, we caught up, had coffee at a lovely little place with Mel and goofed off as per usual.
Sunday: Sio’s parents made us waffles for breakfast, they were sooo good. Then we chilled out and finally delivered the flowers. Then we took pictures with the Nickel for Bexy! And then there was the drop off, that is, I was delivered to Tina’s. We went to her grandparents for dinner. It was a very yummy dinner and a lot of Italian being spoken, so I smiled and nodded a lot : ) then we watched movies with the fire a-blazing. Not one of those natural gas fires where you see the same log burn for 20 years but a real fire with logs and such.
Monday: Then the next morning was a little hectic, lots of hair appointments then I left to come back home. I was really tired when I got back and my tummy revolted because I forgot to take some gravol. Well, let’s just say I am much better now ;) Oh and one of my sisters came home and we chatted after I dragged my sorry ass out of bed.
Tuesday: I am going to see LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS I am so excited, we (Denise and I) made these plans four months ago.
