Scotland vs Ireland:
U of Edinburgh wins over Trinity in terms of accomodation.
I mean Trinity was beautiful and the location was excellend. The only problem was that the rooms are a little bit old and the bathrooms, which are shared, were a little dodgy. The residences inEdinburgh are much newer and beautiful. I look back onto the mountains literally a few feet away, but best of all the rooms are first class. I have my own ensuite bathroom and it is all very nice and new. Also, for some reason they skimp on the breakfst at Trinity only providing you with continental, read as cold stuffs, for breakkie and ask you to pay for any hot food. I had yogurt and granola every day which was fine with me. Here the breakfast is lavish with smoked fish, veggie and meat sausages, eggs, cereals, I could go on and on. It was really nice, although I shall probably have some granola and yogurt tomorrow :)

Anyway, its time for me to go and see how the cities match up. I am so excited for Edinburgh Castle and all the other sites.

Crazy Night in Dublin....

I met some cool people on my tour yesterday including a fun Alaskan, Tracy, who is currently working in London. The tour was fabulous and full of other fun people. We had a lot of fun seeing the beautiful country side, waterfalls, and an old monastery. I have some lovely pics. After the tour ended we had some coffee and tea, walked around for a bit before having some dinner.

Then we began our pub hopping. We met some cool people at the first place we started, Temple Bar, then we went to the Porter House again. We met up with some girls I had met on my first tour to Newgrange. Then we went to this club/pub across the street, that was also lots of fun. We ended the night at this Irish pub with a live Irish band, and people were dancing up a storm. After a jig or two, a bunch of us left. I was tired and it was close to 3am. aieee.

This morning I was tired and slept through breakfast but woke up in time to meet Tracy for some shopping. After that and some lunch, she went off to catch her plane. Now I am going to pack up my stuff and get ready for Scotland. Wahoo!
