So everyone keeps asking what my new year’s resolutions are and I can’t say I really made any. I guess there is the usual: work out more and eat better (you know all the stuff they say on the Special K commercial). What else? I am not going to stress out or burn out. I am really scared about taking Org II after taking Org I several years ago. Well I dug up my study notes from Org I so I hope to be able to keep up with the class. Also, I want to get my research paper done a little early, in fact I have already begun the introduction! I guess on the whole, I want this year to be happier, less stressful, and I want to try to be less “phone sensitive”, those who know the term know what I mean.

By the way New Years was crazy in Mtl. A little bit of everything, from lots of wine and alcohol to some tears and fights. I would like to say I indulged in the former and not the latter. We started with dinner at a rather swanky restaurant, and then proceeded to chill before hitting the true PARTAY! After we moved up to the VIP party things went smoothly (that is away from the super young and underdressed, its not like I am a snob but when you spend forever getting super dressed you do not want to hang out with people in jeans who are very immature) Overall the night went well, although the next morning was a little disastrous, for some more so than others. Went to bed about 5am but for some reason I got up at 8am and could not go back to sleep and everyone else was passed out! When everyone finally got up we (those that could eat) had a lovely breakfast before heading out on the train, bus, or car! I am a little sad that I did not get to see some of my Montreal Peeps like Dan, Boi, and Stacy: ( Maybe next time…
